A delicious Slow Cooker Chicken Tikka Masala, chuck it all in, recipe . A not too spicy, tomatoey, creamy curry. Divine, a real crowd pleaser
- 650 g Diced Chicken breast
- 1 Onion Peeled and finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic peeled and very finely chopped
- 1 inch Fresh Ginger Peeled and grated
- 100 g Tikka Masala Spice Paste I use Patak's
- 2 tbsp Tomato Puree
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 lemon juice of
- 500 g Tomato Passata carton
- Salt & Black Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Garam Masala
- 100 g Creme Friache 1/2 fat
- coriander leaves handful
To your slow cooker add, your chicken, chopped onion, garlic, ginger, tikka masala spice paste, tomato puree and turmeric
Next add on top your carton of tomato passata, lemon juice, salt & black pepper
Give it a very good stir
Add the lid, turn on your slow cooker and set for 4 hours on high, or 8 hours on low
Once your Chicken Tikka Masala is cooked, add your garam masala and your half fat creme Friache, and stir
Finally add your coriander leaves and stir, then serve!
