Ingredients
320gPuff Pastry Ready made
100g Chocolate Spread I used Nutella
25gMilk
10gIcing Sugar
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180C (fan) / 200C / 400F / Gas 6
Line a baking sheet with greaseproof paper
Remove your pastry from the fridge and leave for 10 minutes, then unroll
Cut you pastry down the centre into 2 pieces, equal in size
Spread one half with the Chocolate Spread using a knife to spread, do this evenly to the edges
Pop the second piece of pastry directly on top
Using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife cut into 6 strips approx 2cm wide (you should get 5-6 strips) But you will need a little pastry to make your star
Take one strip and bend into approx 4 - starting at the bottom with a larger base (see pics)
Using a skewer to secure and lay on your baking sheet, leaving plenty of space between them as they expand on baking
When you haver finished all 5-6 cut a star out of some pastry left - either do this by hand or use a star cutter
Glaze with milk using a pastry brush
Bake in the centre of your preheated oven for approx 30-35 minutes, please check after 25 minutes as all ovens vary. They should be golden brown and smell delicious
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with icing sugar and enjoy!
