Cucumber and Gin English Garden Cocktail
Just like The English Garden! So we called it the Gin & Cucumber English Garden Cocktail
So I really hope, like me, you find this very English and perfect for summer afternoons, so good.
Or April evenings or anytime 🙂
Lets get get making….
Cucumber in drinks
The cucumber isn’t over powering at all and it’s like a lovely, light, garden party spritzer.
I simply love cucumber in drinks and you get to eat it too when you’ve supped up!
Sit back relax and think of England and enjoy The English Garden Cocktail
So easy!!
So what gin goes with cucumber?
Hendrick’s was one of the first mainstream gins to successfully diversify garnishing from the traditional lemon or lime slice with cucumber.
However I’m really not sure it matters in this recipe, so have a go.
I’ve made it successfully with many different types of gin

The Tarty Tom Collins
And if you like Gin based cocktails you’ll possible like this Tarty Tom Collins!
The Tom Collins is a Collins cocktail made from gin, lemon juice, sugar, and carbonated water.
First memorialized in writing in 1876 by Jerry Thomas, “the father of American mixology”, this “gin and sparkling lemonade” drink is typically served in a Collins glass over ice.
A “Collins mix” can be bought premixed at stores and enjoyed alone (like a soft drink) or with gin.
However why exactly would you do this when you have the lovely easy recipe 🙂

This looks so good, I am having a bit of a gin faze at the moment and been making some basic cocktails, what a lovely idea adding the cucumber like this. I can’t wait to get all the ingredients to try it!
